It keeps me off the streets and helps to maintain my feminine shoulders How did you get into aerial?  I had an extra class in my membership and aerial was the only time slot that worked with my schedule. Then I got addicted.
What do you love about aerial? Learning how to connect skills...and drops! What were your thoughts during/after your first class? What. On. Earth. Yes. Do you have any funny stories about aerial? While taking a break from practice at the social club, two older gentlemen looked in the doorway... Man 1: what do you suppose these girls are doing with this ribbons? Man 2: I saw this in Branson! They just roll right on up to the ceiling, and if everything goes well, they roll right back down! Then they walked away. This conversation happened as Katie and I stood with all of our feet on the floor doing nothing interesting or rolly whatsoever. Any accomplishments that you want to share? I can regularly touch my toes as of three weeks ago. This is a big deal. What do you say to your friends when they ask you about this crazy aerial thing you do? Gypsies tried to kidnap me when I was a child in France, so I'm catching up on my would have been circus life What do you do when your not hanging upside down in class? Work, read evidenced based, peer reviewed medical articles. Anything else you would like to share? You light up my life. |
